Description: Major Infrastructure Buffers Overlay(dataset 1 of 2, Buffers)Moreton Bay Regional Council Planning Scheme - www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/mbrcplanningscheme/The Major Infrastructure Buffers Overlay contains 11 categories, these are listed below with a description of how they were created.Electricity Supply Substation Buffer 10m - The locations of these land parcels were sourced from an Energex Report then buffered. The attributes have a subcategory which differentiates between Zone Substation and Bulk Supply Substation.Electricity 110 kV Buffer 20m - These were sourced from Energex GIS Dataset (ENERGEX_May2012_110kv) however the alignement of the powerlines were not correct in a few places when compared with the 2012 Orthorectified Aerial Imagery (eg, Porter Rd, Caboolture), so a copy was made and this was edited to match the imagery, this was then buffered.Electricity 275 kV Buffer 40m -These were sourced from Powerlink, however the alignment was also off in some areas when compared with the Imagery, so these were corrected and then buffered.Water Supply Pipeline Buffer 20m -The Linkwater Moreton TrunkMain 2012 and SEQ Water GIS Datasets were used to create buffer.Gas Pipeline Buffer 200m -This was taken from Caboolture Shireplan, which contained the following statement, Gas Pipeline Licence information extracted from DNRM's MERLIN database for the extent of the Caboolture Shire.Landfill Site -This was taken from Councils Parks and Complexes GIS layer with some minor edits to the extent of the polygon at Bunya and Dakabin.Landfill Site Buffer 200m -Above layer was buffered.Wastewater Treatment Site -Wastewater Treatment land parcels were selected, in some areas (eg. Bribie) not the whole land parcel was used, rather it was trimmed back to the actual site area only using the 2012 Aerial Imagery.Wastewater Treatment Plant Buffer 400m - Above layer was buffered.Water Supply Buffer 80m -The 80m Buffer is applicable to two properties at Sideling Creek Dam (Lake Kurwongbah). Full Holding Capacity of Sideling Creek Dam was buffered 80m then clipped to the two applicable properties.Water Supply Buffer 400m -The Full Holding Capacity (FHC) of North Pine Dam (Lake Samsonvale) and Sideling Creek Dam (Lake Kurwongbah) was buffered. FHC was mapped using Digital Elevation Model with North Pine Dam at 39.63m AHD and Sideling Creek Dam at 21m AHDStandard Overlay Attribute Fields have been added as part of the Queensland Planning Provisions Guidelines Ver 3: www.dsdip.qld.gov.au/statewide-planning/queensland-planning-provisions.htmlThese include:LGA_CODE (based on cadastre supplied by DNRM)CAT_DESC (describe a category for the overlay, existing or unique)OVL_CAT (specify a three letter code for the overlay category, existing or unique)OVL2_DESC (describe the new identified theme)OVL2_CAT (specify a new seven character unique code for the theme)OM_Category is a field added by MBRC for mapping and displaying in the Legend, it is integer based so allows analysis using intersect where multiple categories may be intersected the Maximum or Minimum value can be used to identify the highest constraint for a parcel of land.Look Up TableOM_CategoryMap Legend201Aviation Facility202Electricity Supply Substation Buffer - 10m203Electricity 110 kV Buffer - 20m204Electricity 275 kV Buffer - 40m205Water Supply Pipeline Buffer - 20m206Gas Pipeline Buffer - 200m207Landfill Site208Landfill Site Buffer - 200m209Wastewater Treatment Site210Wastewater Treatment Site Buffer - 400m211Water Supply Buffer - 80m212Water Supply Buffer - 400m
